I don't have an opionion about the guy but if he were a white police chief would ABC ask the same question?

One more thought and I'm done. Militant Islam terrorists have their own "Carville and Beguillas" that understand American culture and set terrorist stragegy.

I believe terrorists know all about PC and racial preferences, and how that has resulted in lower standards.

PC will be the weapon that destroys America, we may be seeing evidence of that.

Me saying I have no opinion about the guy is not true. It would be impossible not to have an opinion after a week of seeing him daily. My intent is not to appear hypocritical.

Over the past couple of years I have defended W and his speaking style and there is always more to a person than how they speak and what the media tells us about them.

I will say this: Montgomery County, MD is a very large county with a big police department. The county leaders obviously went outside the county when they hired Moose and I would be interested in knowing what the rank and file think of him.

I agree with you Godbert. The only criteria I have to judge Chief Moose is his effectivness and compitance.

To date all that I have seen so far is that the sniper has continued to kill on a daily basis. I do not believe that shouting from the roof-tops that they are searching for a white mini-van would be particularly helpful. After all, were I the sniper, I would by now have probably started using a different mode of transportation knowing the a white mini-van is high-profile; and thirdly, what is the comment about the shooting of a 13 year-old as "...now it's really getting personal"? Is that to say that shooting adults in NOT a personal offense or a attack on peaceful society?

All in all, Chief Moose does not inspire me with the greatest of confidence, and that the sniper will, no doubt, get caught by some bone-headed error and not by dilligent police work.

BTW Chief Moose doesn't sound particularly dumb (nor particularly smart) but I about fell over when I heard him speak.

He literally sounds like somebody doing a parody. Sort of a liberal Stepin Fetchit.
