Coleman hitting hard about Wellstone voting against national defense--very timely and on target.

"Let me finish!" "Don't interrupt me!"
Wellstone just likes to hear himself talk and won't shut up.

What? Is he sleeping with John McCain? He's only mentioned mccain about 50 times in the last 5 minutes.

Clearly, McCain needs to go to Minn and endorse Coleman after this. I trust Coleman will contact McCain and quash this absurd association that Wellstone is making that he alligns himself with McCain on defense. Desparation on Wellstone's part showing through, imho.

I'm very impressed with Coleman. He is incredibly poised, knows his stuff, speaks well. He is definitely a great GOP candidate. If he doesn't win this race--he'll be back--maybe for Governor.
Only thing, what's with Coleman not wearing a tie--I assume it's a planned strategy--maybe wanting to appear more relaxed and casual and appeal to a younger crowd.

I think Coleman is doing well also, Wellstone is not answering any questions, he is trying to control the conversation and just yada yada yada-ing. Coleman is resonding well, imho.

I like this guy. He was a democrat and saw the light. What is it they say about being a conservative, "A liberal who has been mugged?"

What I really liked about the debate was it's civility and that the news babe and her pal stayed out of it as much as possible.
Thanks again for the HU.
Shown again at 6P Eastern Sunday for you Twins fans.

Coleman hit Wellstone where Mr. Faux Populist needed to be hit: PAC money, broken promises, ineffectiveness, et al.

I like this guy. He was a democrat and saw the light.Ol' Normie was a Democrat on the St. Paul Council when I lived there. He always stood for common sense growth and intelligent tax management. He started to stand up straight after Paula Macabee was elected in '88. Then ran for mayor as a Republican to shut-up and -out the dimwits that were getting elected to the council on the promise of lengthening the "hog trough".
Norm, you da man!. I just got back from an emergency job in Eden Prairie MN, did not see one single Wellstone placard or sign the whole way up on I-35 and I-494. Coleman signs had the look of dandelions in May. Just all over the place.

I sure hope Wellstone came off to Minnesota and the nation as the complete jackass that I saw tonight. What a jerk. Norm rightly treated him like the child that he is.

Yeah, if you judge by yard signs, Coleman's got this one in the bag. Even in the Twin Cities, I notice a comforting number of blue Coleman signs. And once you get into the suburbs and outstate, it's definitely Coleman country. (Although my friends up in Duluth say Wellstone is still running very popular up there.) Anyway, I'm feeling good. And tonight's debate on ALMANAC has me feeling even better!
