True.. Too many places to stake out. It would take a brigade of countersnipers to cover the area, and if the sniper spotted another sniper, he'd just move out another 50 miles. Not a practical solution. But then, I don't know the tricks of the trade. I think you'd have to think like a sniper to figure out where you would have to be to get a clean shot , set up without much chance of detection, and a clean getaway. Seems to me that would be the first consideration for this shooter, and the victims are opportunity targets in the wrong place at the wrong time. Five different brand gas stations might be a clue. I'd at least stake out at a station selling a brand that hasn't been hit yet. FReegards -- Dave
