Boy do I agree, I a customizing an old car. I am still in the planning stage but my goal is to have the classic lines outside with the modern comforts inside. (ac, power seats, computer nav, cruise control, reasonable stereo) The problem I have with modern cars is the neutering of any passion.

I saw somewhere where some fiberglass mfg has taken the 53 Corvette body style and dropped the front and rear facia on the the chassis of a new Corvette. Looks great and obviously runs great.
