PJ, even if it cannot be definitively said at this point that the shooter or shooters are what we would characterize as "terrorists", the for-all-intents-and-purposes greater fallout of this is that it is starting to effect the mindset, economics and stability of the National Capital Region. Therefore we must unfortunately begin to refer to this as "terrorism" because in a defacto sense it is. Further it is more than "Maryland" shootings at this point, it is "US CAPITAL AREA-SHOOTINGS". This is clear.

It certainly is. If anything, after the passing of the resolution in Congress last night, I expected it to intensify.

We coined the term Metro area shootings in a thread last night.

Does anyone know how they would try a cross-jurisdictional case like this? (If the manage to catch the guy alive) Most the shootings have been in MD, but three of the last four are in VA. I'm hoping they let VA try those cases. Virginia will fry the guy, the liberals in MD won't let them.
