You're probably right. I heard teachers in MD (it may have been Tasker Jr.Hi) saying how proud they were of the kids for just coming into school and getting on with their work. It probably is us adults. :)

However, I remember as a kid, being left in a car while my parents grocery shopped and playing outside at all hours in the summer with no parental supervision and riding my bike to the store. No amber alerts or car jackings with kids in the car (here last year) that I remember, anyway. Some things have changed.

Yeah I remember that too but I also remember one time my brother got his head stuck in the steering wheel and another time he put the car in N and luckly some guy jumped in and stopped the car as we rolled down a hill. After that we kids spent alot more time in grocery stores! LOL.
