I watched the channel 9 evening news and they had video of the note. It was hand written, had lots of words (CBS evening news said 3 dozen words) on it and they said it was written on computer paper. It looked like white paper, not the green bar stuff. You could see the words "I am" in their video.

Channel 9 TV showed the police photographing the note and putting it in an evidence bag. The note was found behind the Best Western Hotel.
