Good morning, Peach

Checking in this morn from sniper alley I have some thoughts.

First, I'm convinced the perp will not shoot on rainy days. Indeed when I woke up yesterday and heard the soft ping of rain my first thought was...it's raining...they'll be no shootings today.

Which means, oddly, that by living in the target range, I consider that I may have framed some sort of profile of the sniper my own Merryland citizen self. Which is really scary when I think about it.

Moose was on this morning refusing to comment about "evidence" found at the scene. Said evidence consisting of a note with the words "I am" scribbled upon.

I think the sniper is going to continue circling DC for a while then eventually hone in on someone BIG. OR pull off a shot at a major outdoor event. The Redskins play in PG county and the reporters are hammering on Moose about protection, et al. This is the sort of event the sniper's going to pull off a shot.

I say this with my newfound psychological insight to the sniper. Obviously the guy is quite enjoying his notoriety. Sooner or later the killing of average citizens gassing up their cars is going to be passe. I predict that he'll be hitting on a big politico soon (yeah, I'm thinking the President though I'm not convinced he'll pull it off). But also could be the Governor, perhaps a cop. If he doesn't get stopped, on to such as football games, outdoor soccer matches...that type of thing.

Just my thoughts this rainy Merryland day.

This is a factoid currently flying low under the radar here in Merryland, cyphergirl.

But I'm taking bets now....come on I'm giving 50 to one odds, that when this perp is caught, that moratorium is going to be lifted right away.

In fact, as I type I'm thinking focus groups have already indicated to the Dems who would love to exploit this situation, that it would be best not to mention anything about taking away our guns.

We may be liberal idiots here in Merryland but no way even the most radical left will stand for the sniper getting to keep HIS gun while the gubmint industriously works to take away OURS.

I say it won't fly. Right now we're worried about getting shot but let this perp finally get caught and the groundswell to put this guy to death will be breathtaking.
