. He had Rep. Hoeffel (D) call into his show and say he would look into the matter and he spent an hour with Davis in the office of Rep. Weldon (R), who Smerconish said was very receptive. I believe this issue is gaining legs.

I wouldn't put to much faith into Hoeffel, he would sell his mother for a vote if he had to ..

I've met Hoeffel and I agree with you. A man who has done some work for our office knows his parents, who are apparently good Republicans and great people. They don't know where their son got his beliefs.
