They are not idiots. They are purposely lying inorder to advance their agenda to outlaw .50 caliber and larger weapons.

Actually, the record for a successful hit with a .50 caliber is 2430 meters, which is equal to 1.51 miles. This "four mile" stuff is pure fantasy.
