Posted - October 10, 2002 3:54pm
Rockville, Md. (AP) - Police are swarming over Interstate 270 this afternoon, where there are two incidents, possibly connected.
In the first incident, by Route 28 in Rockville, a woman told police she'd been shot at by a man in a vehicle, possibly a blue Dodge pickup.
Then, further north near Route 124 in Gaithersburg, police have reportedly pulled over a vehicle and taken a man out of the car.
No other details are immediately available.

Thanks Shermy. Every incident in the area is amplified and understandably so.

If this is terrorist work, IMHO we cannot be fixated on the theory that the very same one or two terrorists are going to be out shooting, or that they will stay in the same vehicle or use the same caliber bullets; on the other hand, there are random acts of violence every single day around and in the DC area, so some of these may just be what normally happens but is rarely reported.

Sounds as though the vehicle pulled over is probably the blue pickup truck.
