I would guess than very few road rage incidents also involve shooting. As to the
"stupidity" of shooting at people, shooting is deadly serious, and I am a bit reluctant to
apply that term to a shooter's mind-set. Evil-willed, yes; or self-defensive. But rarely is
a deliberate shooting a "stupid" act. If this person shot deliberately, at another person, it
is attempted homicide. And, in this circumstance, the shooting does not sound justified at
all.

Could be a domestic dispute however with all the media in the area how could a person not know about the sniper.....wonder when the media will break in...also....why is it taking so long to link the gas station shooting????

It's bad enough that shooting on the road is attempted murder of whoever the target is. But it also risks causing an accident that can take many more lives.
