Possibly. But I'd be concerned with infected precious bodily fluids. Doesn't it take something like 2000 degrees to destroy preons (prions?)? (of Mad Cow and CJD fame)

Like wow dude, where have you been ? These people are kind, and free, and loving, and pure, and, and, something. Surely they have nothing in them that would harm the Great Trees.

Now you run along and run around the biggest tree you can find 100 times, chanting " I Love You, Great Tree"....

My mistake. You're right. They would never eat meat.

However, certain plants like to absorb stuff that's hazardous to humans. Heavy metals, for one thing. Then there are
the partially edible plants that manufacture hazardous (but useful) chemicals. Rhubarb contains oxalic acid, for
instance.
