I think that all the same things apply. A fair trial, with the reasonable doubt concept applied.
It would seem there is no reasonable doubt in this case. An eyewitness at the scene, with the perps for hours, is very hard to ignore.
The fact that these perps were on a so-called 'crime-spree' and the killings of these 5 in Kansas was the end of the spree is also hard for a jury to ignore.
I guess the bottom line on this will be do they get the death penalty, and if not, will it be because of politics, PC, and race.
