Contrast that with the man who let his fiance be raped and humiliated and ultimately shot. For what? Why would you lay down or get on your knees, knowing you would die?!!! They were more than raped, they were also forced to commit sodomy on each other while the bad guys watched and joked about it. The bad guys has lots of fun with the victims. From their prior testimony, it seemed that they did more and more to these people, because they were so much like sheep, and would do anything no matter how humiliating it was that the bad guys thought of..... The complicity of the vicitms, just egged the bad guys on to do more and more.

But the 2 were the only two that were armed. But it DOESN'T MATTER. The following statements couldn't be more true:
1) Never sit idly by while your plane is being hijacked,
and
2) Never go along with someone at gunpoint, or follow their orders
Better to have them shoot you on the spot. Do these guys *really* look like people you can trust to just 'let you go'?
I don't think so.

I was stationed in Witchita Ks at McConnell AFB in late 70's
Who were you with? I was there, right out of basic From Oct 75 to mid-78. I was an Admin troop working in the 381st SMW Safety Office.
You are right, though, it was a pit.

Your point is so good it deserves to be repeated! Seriously, this is a lesson to those would-be sheep out there. They want you to go to the ATM? Get in the car? Take off your clothes? F'em.
I can say this, 4 years ago I was on my way to the credit union on a Saturday night after dinner, to get some cash at the ATM. I was with my wife and my mother, and it was kind of late and the area where the credit union is, is in an industrial area near the Burbank Airport.
It was a wet night and particularly very quiet and darker than usual from the lack of street lights for some reason. However, it was not hard to miss the 4 chumps who look like clones of these defenendent P'OS sitting in a red beat up Hyundia Excel with the headlights on, who, after over a minute of waiting for me to come down the street, decided to immediately make a U-turn (they were facing me from the opposite direction, parked in front of the CU) so quickly as to almost hit my rear bumper and follow me into the parking lot, where conveniently, nobody was around.
At this moment, it was obvious that parking at the ATM would be the death of me and my family as they could easily park behind me and block my escape, and jump us. No thanks. As fortune would have it, there was a side entrance to the place that I used to get the hell out of there. The trash in the Hyundai, after slowing down, expecting me to park, then followed me out of the joint but took off like a bat out of hell in the other direction. Wise move on their part, we could've had a cellphone and turned their ass in (but we didn't).
Sadly, instead of me, that could of been any number of sheep, in their own little world, totally not paying attention, that would've likely ended up the same as the poor Kansas victims. Screw that.
My alertness must've scared those bastards off because nothing happened that night, they were waiting for their mark and when I came and failed to succumb, they must have panicked. F'em.

This crime is known as the Wichita Horror. Odd how few people know that. Odd how this hasn't made the front page. Odd how a sadistic burglary/rape/sodomy/robbery/execution story is of no interest to the media.
There is no punishment, no torture, that these filthy wretches could suffer that would be too great. Besides being animals, they are cowards. Every breath they draw is pollution.

"The first thing we have to do is realize that we are under attack." Yup. You nailed it, most don't realize it.

Don't you think that posting the same reply 15 times in 70 minutes is enough?

Water is on point. I am revolted by this crime, but am appalled that the people did not fight when it became apparent they were not just being robbed. In all honesty, I would not have even withdrawn money from the ATM, because while you refuse to, you have something on the criminal.
Even ICE CUBE, of all people, pointed out the danger of going along with people who are robbing you. You want my money, get the jump on me, and take it on the street. If you loiter, I know you're going to kill, possibly torture me and mine. I will not let that happen without a fight.
I've been in dangerous situations before, and you know what? My pulse has stayed relatively even, I was able to head off the trouble or evade it. I am confident that if my life is on the line I will put holes in the animals or at least claw his eyes out.
I care deeply for my girlfriend. I would rather die than see these types of criminals degrade or hurt her, and my rage would probably carry the day. I've been talking to her a lot about being aware of her surroundings and carrying at least a stun gun so she can guard her safety and dignity. She also would fight when it became apparent she had no choice.
Contrast that with the man who let his fiance be raped and humiliated and ultimately shot. For what? Why would you lay down or get on your knees, knowing you would die?!!!

A bump for all the victims, and a prayer for all their survivors. For them, the nightmare will never go away.

For me it just re-emphasizes the sad fact that no you cannot treatan armed robber as if he's only after the money. The fact thathe's armed is at least an implicit threat on your life, and going alongunder the hope that "money isn't worth killing somebodyover" will get you killed in the likely case that the robber doesn't agree. And here, unfortunately, is the mindset of the armed robber:
"I've got a job to do and I'm going to do it. If anyone
tries anything to stop me, they are stupid and have
committed suicide. I cannot afford to hesitate. I
have to kill them, or they will kill me."
