I'm equally if not more concerned with the bond issues that are on the ballot.

If there is a decent voter turnout they will probably all be passed by those that don't have to pay for them.

Yeah, it's like mailing platinum credit cards to everyone on food stamps.

What CA needs is a referendum requiring all social spending to be placed on the ballots. Most voters don't understand financial fungibility, so they don't know that when they pass a school, parks, police, or firemen's bond issue, they're really giving more money to welfare slackers.
