Even after September 11th. Even after all that, America seems to still be reminiscient and nostalgic of the 'old days' and so badly wants to return to them....but we cannot as long as al Qaida still wants to kill us all. America is still stuck in "It Can't Happen Here" mindset but there is no plausible explanation as to why we and our fellow citizens should EVER feel this way again, or at least for a long time.

Reality sucks.

The Japanese have a word for this "heiwa bokke", or literally, the mind is stuck in a funk that the whole world is a peace.

Nah, he doesn't want to convert us by the sword...well not yet anyway, he would just like to see the Constitution overthrown democratically. Kind of like a liberal, but with moral convictions.

Those weren't his words by the way, just the only way to achieve the goals of Islam peacefully. The only difference between him and Christians, who also want to convert the world, is that Christians are much more tolerant of secular government and other religions. It's that "Grace" thing they always talk about.

This shooter(s) is picking target areas with few witnesses where people are out and exposed. I would not be surprised if the next victem is standing in front of an ATM machine or in a phone booth. Gas stations have been targets of choice because they have people out in the open in areas that allow quick escape on major roads. LEO should already be staking out gas stations and as soon as the shooter fears this target another will be chosen. Jogging and other pidestrian activity are at risk as well. To catch this wolf you need to watch the sheep a little closer. A terror group is not going to have a snitch to give this group up. They are going to have to stake out target areas and get lucky and be able to call down lots of resources to box the shooter in after the next incident and yes I would profile a middle eastern person leaving the area.
