Sigh.... I have been trying to make the same point since I joined Free Republic. I think it is hopeless. People have too much fun ridiculing and making fun of people to let the facts get in the way. Thanks for trying though.

Yes, soccer moms drive SUV's. At a game tonight I looked closly at the Mercedes SUV and the Cadillac SUV. Ahhhhhhh, beautiful. What is the price tags on these? Dat ain't no DemoRats drivin dose mafas. (Unless in DC parading hookers, which BTW, I have been and approached by).

I have no clue where the bad rap on soccer moms started. It is wrong.

One last point: I am an Olympic Development coach (U-16 Boys). I never, never talk politics. But, I hear the moms. Not once have I heard them talk about supporting Clinton, Gore, Dashole. I have heard them supporting Bush.

We coaches from different age groups have a brew quite often. They agree and wonder where this started.
