It's a little frustrating. I fully support the idea of hitting the ground and diving for cover but it shouldn't take that long to do a quick lookaround and see where the killer[s] are going.
Is Maryland and those parts around the Capitol so screwed up that the people can't show a little initiative?
Years ago, my parked car was hit and I ran out of my apartment barefoot in the snow and started to chase down the hit and run vehicle. Someone else saw the car accident and noticed me running down the street in pursuit. The stranger picked me up in his car and we searched the neighborhood until we found the car. We also found the driver and called the police. This was over a lousy car accident. Have times changed that someone can't help out a little? Frustrating.

I grew up in Maryland and while it might have to do with the areas we live in, we always had neighbors willing to help out in anyway possible. Times have changed all over, it's a sad fact of our lives.
