Even from that parking lot (across the street, I believe), I don't think the shot could have been from a shotgun.

I live in the area and there is no way the guy could have been shot from the battlefield. Such a shot would have to go over I-66 (a divided highway that is an overpass right by the station) and the shooter would have to avoid hitting a car on I-66 as it is a very busy highway at all times.

I cant believe someone was shot at that station--this area basically has no crime, is always crawling with people and in the heart of NRA country.
