FOXNEWS just reported that another shooting has happened in the DC area (Prince George?). A man was shot an killed at a gas station.

The white van was seen leaving the area, they do not know where the shots came from. So the van may not be connected, they could be witnesses that got scared and left the area quickly.

That was earlier today, near there. The drivers side window of a delivery truck was shattered by birdshot. Today is opening day of duck and dove season in Virginia.

He's saying that there was an incident this afternoon involving a broken auto window from a shotgun blast. I think that's where the notion of a shotgun shooting came from. Chief would not say what type of weapon tonight, but gave the impression it was not the same as this afternoon's shooting.
