Today, I was in my dentist's waiting room and absolutely cringed, when I saw that they had the reception area tv, tuned to Oprah. Oh great, I'm going to have a root canal and have to listen to this garbage beforehand-or so I thought. This was my first time watching Oprah -I still feel Daschilized saying that-I am going to go have a beer and change the oil in my truck , as soon as I finish this!! Just got to see part of the show-but, what I saw was very balanced and presented the President's case very effectively. Is Oprah a stealth Freeper??

Message board at Oprah is full posts consisting of:
Propaganda, One-sided, Disappointed, Biased.....
Some group of Peacenicks have definitely taken over the message board.
Oprah could have a show that gives the other side (I can't think of what the other side could be).
She had one for "New Moms" because that show had so many responses. Chances are she'll have another show cause she'll get so much heat from her Hollyweird friends.

Now, does anyone know if Oprah is rerun late at night on any of the cable channels?I'm looking at the Oxygen channel line-up, it shows something called Oprah After the Show at 2 times 9 pm and 11 pm. I think somebody earlier said, or I may have read it on her website, that the discussion would be continued on that program.
So it would be worth trying to catch that if you get Oxygen. I'm guessing those 2 times are local for me, so CST. But not sure about that.
But I didn't see a listing for her regular show anymore tonight on Oxygen, though it is repeated on WLS in Chicago at 11:05 pm.

Reports on this thread indicate Oprah actually said...perhaps Clinton looked the other way. Absolutely shocking.I'm pretty sure she turned on the 'toon after the Lewinsky stuff came out. But she wasn't very vocal about it.

Sure doesn't look like she's their Idol anymore!!! HAR!

Just listen to the "after show" video. The guy who says he was a Clinton administation employee. They are still trying to do damage control. Just listen to it!!! That's the Ophra show we all know and love. Don't call her up for a date just yet!

You are kidding, right??
I saw her show when the President was on. She hosted both Gore and Bush. When Gore was through, she held her hand up beside her face and pointed to her hand with her finger, and mouthed the words, "vote for this one".
If that's supporting Bush - I'm shocked!!
Then, when Bush was on - she was very nice to him, but you could see a certain reservation in her actions. When the interview was over, she ended the show and they started running the credits - at that time, the camera panned to a wide-angle view and off to the right side of the stage (behind Oprah's view), the audience STOOD UP. As soon as they did, the rest of the audience stood up too. Oprah was genuinely taken by surprise as the standing audience (like a big wave) came into her line of vision. The look on her face was stunning - as the whole audience STOOD AND GAVE BUSH A STANDING OVATION. And ... the cameraman was wonderful and took an even wider angle shot and got the whole audience reaction - it was an awesome moment.
However, I think 9/11 has jarred a lot of people into thinking differently. They may not vote differently, but they are using a different thought process. I was very wary of this show because I expected Oprah to have all the liberal anti-war people on to Bash the admin. I'm glad to hear that was not the case.

"a rebroadcast"
Okay - let's start freeping for a "PRIMETIME" rerun of her show. I would really like to see this.

Holy Chit!

So would I!

Thanks. I wish I had the money to buy that tape... It would be difficult for the left to argue against this.
To: KsSunflower
DON'T DO THAT!!
I just fell off my chair!! She really said THAT??? WHOA!
Hugh Hewitt may be right! He had an article at World Net Daily, about how the dems are using stats based on pre-9/11 attitudes. If they would use post-9/11 stats, they would find out people think they are the party of deception. He predicts a blowout on election day because the dems aren't paying attention to the change in the public's attitude.

I just watched the "after the show" segment. Someone brought up that allegation about dying people under sanctions and the Iraqi retorted that Saddam is allowed to sell as much oil as needed to buy adequate food and medicine. If people are dying, Saddam is keeping the money for himself and not spending on food and medicine.

Actually, I think Dr. Phil has done a lot to change her mind about a lot of things. The good Dr. does not believe in the victim mentality. Looks like some of his good, sound teaching rubbed off.
To: cmsgop
Hmmmm? You can't be tooooo wrong - you picked her didn't you?? If you think it's a soul mate thingy, then ya did good!!
To: jdontom
Thanks for the post. It looks like our friend over at the DU are whining more that Oprah didn't come out screaming that the US propped up Saddam.
So the US is stuck in damned if we do damned if we don't world. If we didn't help Saddam in the early years then we're not being helpful. If we did help him we're responsible for him gassing his population.
But all this doesn't matter on what we should do now, as that is remove him from power. Curiously none of the posts touch on how bad Saddam is to his own people. Course that weakens their Bush bashing case.

"real and honest"
Are you kidding! The people on those shows are PAID ACTORS. It's just the left's way of trying to show the world what a mess it is and how much they need the liberals to show them how to live life.
These trailer trash people are the tiny of the tinyest amount of the population. More people get it RIGHT than those who live like the people on Springer.

Wow, thanks for posting this info for us. I sure wish I could've seen this show for myself today. I just check my tv guide and found that it is on again at 1:05 am tonight. I missed as well and have now set my VCR to tape it.
