Mentioning Reagan and blasting Republicans in the same article is quite odd considering Reagan's eleventh commandant, "Speak no ill of a fellow Republican."

Also equating the Republican party as empty suits is also ridiculous as well considering Republicans won every presidential election since WWII with the exception of JFK/LBJ (voter fraud in IL?) and Carter (Watergate fallout) and Clinton (Ross Perot the spoiler).

I think GWB has already made the Republican party even more popular (chance to increase in an off-year election no less) and going forward, I am looking forward to a landslide in 2004 with both houses of Congress on the coattails.

But maybe you can resurrect Ross or Pat or ? to help give us Hillary in 2008. Then you might see a real revolutionary war again.

What does he mean in the article about Social Security and Medicare being bankrupt? All the democrats have to do is promiss the rising boomers that they will "save the day" if the boomers vote for the dems. And then to "save the day" the dems will have to tax our pants off to pay for what they are doing and of course...to buy their way into office with MY money. I wish I could be an amused bystander too but it is too critical.
