You're right. Can't imagine the pressure the police are under. We've all been under pressure, but it doesn't generally involve the risk of losing your life, the risk of being blamed for someone else losing their life, and microphones being thrust in our faces by nameless/brainless twinkies who are looking for their own publicity. Don't know exactly what happened with MD's local Channel 9, but if they're like the other nutworks (read networks), they've been over the top of inflaming the public.

I watched one of the Son of Sam investigators on the tube last night. He said the difference between the two cases was that Berkowitz's murders were spread out over months--over a year, as I remember--and these murders have happened within days, if not hours.
He didn't mention it, but the Son of Sam case was solved because of tedious police work and lots of shoe leather--Berkowitz had gotten a parking ticket in an area near one of the murders and the job of one of the investigators was to check out all the people who'd gotten tickets. It's going to take one of those kind of breaks to solve the case.

okay what's up with this statement. Herrige was speaking and under her pic... the screen said.. police feel this is domestic, not related to sniper. Is that about the motel shooting and domestic-not related to sniper??
