Focus on facts not supposition. Since we are talking about a school where the card was found after the fact why could not a student fascinated with Tarot Cards and not all that knowledgeable about their mystical meanings have left one as a commentary?

I find it difficult to believe that police didn't immediately search the area after the shooting at the school, which would not leave time for a prankster to leave the tarot card behind. I don't see some kid wandering the woods after the shooting at their school to drop a tarot card to throw the cops off the scent. Just my 2 cents.

They need to match finger prints on the card and casing. If they match, it's a viable clue, if not, it could be from anything.
