Another press conference due soon. To avoid multiple vanity threads regarding any news that comes from press conferences, thought we'd keep a live commentary thread going again today.

There are a few articles about news from late last night, most notably, the President's Secret Service agents have joined the hunt for the sniper and a Tarot Card from the sniper was found at the same scene as the bullet casing from the school shooting.

The Tarot card said "Dear Policeman, I am GOD". That leads me to believe that he is a home grown nutjob who has been watching an awful lot of serial killer movies. It reminds me of Son of Sam and Zodiac killers of New York they both left notes to policemen.

After the Tarot Card taunting, I now think the sniper is a fairly young man (late teens, early 20s), loner, likely indulged by parents, who are probably both neglectful and uninterested government workers. He is not unlike the Columbine shooters.

Yes, since hearing this morning about the Tarot card, I'm starting to change my mind as well. I do wonder why the police didn't release this at the same time as they released info about the bullet casing. There is a large Irish Traveler group living in Augusta, GA, 20 minutes from my home, and they are sometimes mistaken for being Hispanic. I mention this because rumor has it police are looking at Hispanic-looking men driving white box vans particularly closely.

Yea... the Tarot card clue is a curveball.

I wouldn't rule out a female.

I once knew a crazy Italian girl who thought she was God and a Tarot reader.

The family had a big ranch house in the suburbs of CT and it was full of tacky statues.

She and another girl would pray to Odin in the winter.

Totally wigged-out!

Profiler last night said something similar about "God" complex. That this guy had the finger of God complex in which he controls the fate of random individuals and can show mercy or death simply by squeezing the trigger.

He may be trying to make a design with like a pentagram or star. Or he may now go in the opposite direction and flip over to the other side of county now that everyone is looking for him on the south side. The police are going to need a lucky break to catch this puke. I'd suggest anti-sniper hunter killer types with binocs and rifles also in vans cruising the streets in malls or areas with long lines of sight. Parking lots.. open areas around parks and schools... long roads off of main thoroughfares with broad four lane traffic...I'm sure the cops are trying ... God help them..I really hope "Sniper Shi'itehead" starts to think he's invincible and screws the pooch.

He needs to resist arrest and die like a dog in the street. Or better yet have his head smashed in with a toilet seat by a trustee in security lockup after he gives his interviews to the cops.

It has crossed my mind the police are releasing mis-information to force the sniper to release a statement, i.e., if Islamic terrorist, would resent perhaps reference to "I am God".

Oh he will resist and will go down in HIS blaze of Glory! He will not let himself be caught alive. This guy does not want to be caught right now. He is sickening and will be doing alot more taunting and killing before he goes down. This is just the beginning. He was quiet before now he will be taunting with words and I have a feeling he watches every police conference and laughs and laughs at them. They shouldn't give so many conferences unless they have something credible to say. This guy has a grudge against the cops. He trying to prove to them that he can outsmart them. He is looking for revenge - maybe for a relative that died in jail or is in jail or a previous arrest record he had. HE IS DEFINIATELY A PSYCHO and this tarot card just proved it. But I am only guessing. WEll I gotta go to work now hopefully I can rejoin this thread when I get there. Have a great day.

Please indulge me.....have all the shootings(except school) been from his vehicle?....why would he just now leave a tarot card!....I would think that he would have been leaving cards all along, taunting the LE.
