Last night I posted my theory about the current Sony playstation interactive game with the SNIPER theme being related in this case..I'm told this is a VERY intense and addicive game..Pete then commented that apparently in the movie "Navy Seals", the nickname of the sniper was GOD...Not just the SEALs- we called our battalion sniper "God" as well. I remember one training scenario we did where we were training up for Bosnia. It was an Air Assault mission against an illegal checkpoint, which was pretty fun for us guys who had been mechanized our whole careers. We used two rifle platoons as attack force, the mortar platoon (my platoon) as indirect fire support and were augmented by the battalion sniper. In the end, both rifle platoons were killed off and it was a few members of the mortar platoon and this sniper who moved in to clear the objective.
I remember the gushing enthusiasm some of the guys had for the sniper and the way they really seemed to enjoy calling him "God"- kind of like a throw back to that Navy SEALs movie. I guess kind of like "we're just like them". Which was BS of course, two platoons of 11Ms lay "dead" behind us, killed by a handful of Scouts...
That playstation (or whatever) game angle sounds intriguing.

Domestic, according to FoxNews.

Do you think that after they find out who the sniper is, the DNC will elect him chairman?

Moose was our police chief in Portland, OR, where he was selected because he was black and a democrat. He was often in the news for his racist, sexist and homophobic behavior. Several women were paid off by the city because his favorite form of address to white women was "honky bitch." He also left behind a million dollar law suit by a gay police captain. His behavior was known before being made chief but in this PC city being black was more important.

okay what's up with this statement. Herrige was speaking and under her pic... the screen said.. police feel this is domestic, not related to sniper. Is that about the motel shooting and domestic-not related to sniper??

Anything is possible with democrats and a liberal court.

Glenspending is an idiot. Let's hope he's not succeeded as gov by the equally idiotic KKT.
To: ftimmerman
Wow. It's hard to believe the PC public would want a Police Chief who is homophobic and racist. Sad.

"Cadillac Hotel "
Definately a 4-star establishment.

It has crossed my mind the police are releasing mis-information to force the sniper to release a statement, i.e., if Islamic terrorist, would resent perhaps reference to "I am God".Could be any number of reasons.

"I think somebody really screwed up by leaking the Tarot information, but it could benefit the investigation because I don't think the killer is finished yet." I'm more inclined to think that any benefit would be along the lines of spotlighting this killer to any acquaintances who would know about an association with Tarot cards. Someone out there knows or suspects who this killer is. The information about the Tarot card may help convince someone to tip off the police. At least I hope there would be a bright side to this leak of info.

I'd like to think the police are playing a mis-information game - it often works, although in this case the Chief was so impassioned I think he is truly ticked off at the press and not playing a game.

The information about the Tarot card may help convince someone to tip off the police. It has also effectively ended the speculation about terrorism.
