The article doesn't say whether this guy was released after being questioned on Sunday. It seems that he was because after the shooting of the boy they got the search warrant that night. This could also explain the note. "Dear policeman" He's probably not too happy with the way he was treated at the poice station.

You would think that even if they released him after questioning on Sunday they would have been watching him so he could not have managed a shooting on Monday morning.
And if he wasn't released, he could not have done the shooting on Monday yet they still wanted the warrant to search his place on Tuesday.
I'll admit to being a little confused. I wonder if they meant he was brought in for questioning Monday instead of Sunday in the report.

Wish I had saved a copy of the page that I took the information above from. I just refreshed the WUSA page to see if there was more information about the guy they questioned and served the search warrant on - and that information is gone.
