As I hear the latest news about the sniper, I can't help but think about how this sounds like a sinister dark plot from "Hollywood".
I'm disturbed by the continuous flow of evil and darkness being digested by our fellow citizens and produced by "Hollywood," and I wonder about the aggregate effect of this continuous bombardment.
"Hollywood" is the primary polluter of our social enironment. Who are these people who imagine and give live to these darkest of images.
Why aren't WE condemning Hollywood for projecting our image around the world, in the most vile and contemptable fashion.
Isn't it a fact that most foreign citizens learn about America from "Hollywood"?
The dramatic use of a tarot card idicates we are dealing with a psychotic personality who has fed on "outside" stimulation to develope his appetite for killing, in such a dramatic fashion.

If what you see and hear does not have an effect then the billions spent on advertising every week are completely wasted. I do not think so - in fact advertising and manipulations of public perceptions are very influential. Since Hitchcock's 1960 film "Psycho", sexual murder has been a regular feature of entertainment, in increasingly graphic terms. At the same time, violent sex crimes have been on the increase.
What to do about it is a puzzle. No one wants to go back to a censorship agenda, although censorship of films was quite tough right up until the 1960s, and did not stifle the industry.
