I just heard Senator Brownback of Kansas on Greta's show on Fox say that he is getting more anti-war calls than pro.
I must admit I had not thought to call my own senators because I thought this issue was self-evident. I will call tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I would encourage all Freepers to call your senators and express your opinion about the Iraq resolution that is coming up for a vote.
It seems to me that the democrats, anarchists, and Arab sympathizers have their phone banks going overtime.
Thank you for reading this post, and any calls you make will be appreciated!

Please ping anyone you can think of, and please call your senators tomorrow!

Makes sense to me....we have to work and the worthless democrat/socialist/communists don't have anything else to do except call their senators.....right after they call the welfare office for a new book of food stamps.....
To: Miss Marple
Its all the leftist "non-profit" groups who have nothing better to do than bombard the Congress. The 80 percent of Americans who understand the President's position, are too busy working to call. These calls are meaningless. Just listen to C-Span in the morning. Its like a comedy show listening to them spew their socialist Democrat talking points each day. Its so moronic and filled with hate, that it only hurts, not helps, their cause.

Good grief! I never thought of calling about this!! I have too liberal RAT senators that are not up for re-election so they won't care what I have to say but I'll call anyway.
To: Wait4Truth
our local RAT is saying the people are calling him opposed to war ...

Sorry, I'm not waiting...I've already sent emails and left messages for Senator Brownback...who is my Senator. He looked like an unconcerned and uninformed individual. He was slammed on Greta's show.

It seems to me that the democrats, anarchists, and Arab sympathizers have their phone banks going overtime. Wow, I never considered myself to be a part of any of these groups. In fact, I am a lifelong Republican, but I'm against this war. Our biggest threat right now is our open borders. We must stop immigration, and we should deport as many Muslims as we can legally.
None of Bush's arguments have convinced me of the merits of a war against Iraq, and I think he is obsessed with getting Saddam to the point that it is clouding his judgment. At least I hope it's that rather than the more cynical prospect that Bush knows presidents enjoy immense popularity during wartime.
None of the 9/11 terrorists were from Iraq. If this is the reason to invade, then we ought to invade Saudi Arabia instead.
Finally, this war will cost a bundle and might push our fragile economy over the cliff. And once we finish off Iraq, then what? Years of occupation? Does anyone really believe any Arab country will jump up and embrace democracy and freedom considering their culture and religion?
A war against Iraq right now is nuts.

So what? Even if his calls are 100-1 not to defend our nation against Jihadist weapons of mass murder, does that mean that we don't? He has a duty to protect this nation and its people, regardless of what the left-wing, anti-US, pro-enemies-of-the-U.S. freaks who call his office want.

With all due respect, you are wrong on this one. Saddam's nuclear bomb-makers who defected say so, and we can't take the change that they are right.

How about this:
What are our options?
1. Keep the status quo of sanctions enforcement, etc. For how many years? Decades?
2. Pull out. Give Saddam a win. Consequence: mass iraqi slaugther of Shia's and especially Kurds.
3. Get it over with, like we should have in 1991 ... or 1998.
From day one (9/12) they were talking about Iraq and smallpox. 9/11 was the "impetus" to get a running sore fixed. There will never be another such opportunity.
Yes, the huffing and bluffing and dog and pony shows are irritating, but I ignore them.

How much Saudi and other money is laundered through these groups?

Will fax this hour, and call to their machines as will be out during their office hours.
Perhaps all Saddam wants is the Sudetenland as Neville Tenet says.
Still, Tenet was not precisely on top of 9/11 as I recall.
Then there's the Atta meeting which has the DCI in denial.
And the harboring al Qaeda thing--
No, we can't wait for the mushroom cloud.

Saddam's nuclear bomb-makers He is not the only nutty dictator who has, or soon will have, nuclear weapons. What about North Korea? And who says that Pakistan won't be taken over by radicals, and it already has nukes? There has to be a better way to deal with rogue states with WMD's than to invade them all. We need to concentrate on our own defense and to close our borders! If we don't do something quickly about the mass immigration into the US, we won't have a country left to defend.

Every ten calls they make entitles them to a free visit to the medical marijuana clinic.

There is mass slaughter taking place all over the world, especially in Africa. Nobody is talking about invading, conquering, and re-making all of Africa.
As for the Gulf War, we should never have gotten involved in the first place. We should have let all of them battle it out and bought oil from the winner. What difference does it make which crazy Arab tyrant we buy our oil from? They're not going to just sit on it, nor are any of them going to have enough power to control everything.
