OK folks, I heard the ante is $250,000 now to find the killer. Here's a link to satelite photo's of the area. I'm sure there's alot of folks who've got the time (and equipment) to find the best views, and find out where the shooter was.

So a good place for citizens to start watching is empty sections of big lots where a lone vehicle may be parked.

Sorry, I went back to the first victim (Wednesday night at the Shopper's Food Warehouse):

The store is the obviously large structure and the victim was found in either the first or second row of spaces from the street about 10 cars deep into the lot. (I'm thinking from the crime scene photos I saw that he was right around the green truck with the trailer in the middle but possibly one row over toward the street. But as we pull back:

You can see the parking lot is pretty large but if the victim is walking straight down the lanes away from the store, the stores grouped in the lower left limit the shooter's range. Also, the Glenmont police station is the structure with the brown roofs at the bottom. The officers inside said that they heard the gunshot.

My inital theory was professional hits with a few extra thrown in to confuse the cops for cover .I now think it may be terrorism

Just reported on Channel 9 News...This Tarot card was found at the location where the shell casing was found...at scene of shooting of 13 year old...
Also said that on the Death card there is written something to the effect of "A Father/Mother/Son/King/Priest....

I think the grocery story is out of the picture in the upper left hand corner, but it's been a while since I've been there. You are right on about the police station though ....

I think its money from another country that is buying someone in this country so it will probbably be a arab but they will hide the arab money by going through a lot of banks.

Actually, I was not aware of where it was until I called an aquaintance and saw the pictures on TV. The Shopper's Food Warehouse is in the old Hechinger's building. (The one I pointed out.)

The large storeat the bottom is a Giant Food, I believe the post office is toward the middle if not just beyond the middle going away from the Giant.

The grade rises about 10-12 feet from the storefronts up to the road (Georgia Ave.) and there is a golf course community across the street.

The victim was sitting on a bench facing the parking lot. I can't see the shooter taking the shot from beyond the parking lot. She's under an overhang, sitting down (below standard car roof level) The police would have to just look up the closest row to find the spot where the shot was fired.

First Major Clue in Sniper Attacks

9 News has learned that police have their first major clue in the manhunt for
the sniper who has killed six people and wounded two.

The killer left a calling card. It was found not far from where a 13-year-old
boy was shot and critically wounded Monday morning at Benjamin Tasker
Middle School in Bowie, Maryland.

In a nearby wooded area, detectives found the spot where the sniper
apparently waited in ambush. The grass was matted down, a shell casing was
found and, law enforcement sources say, investigators found a message
from the gunman to the Police.

It was written on a Tarot Card, an ancient method of fortune telling. The
cards are supposed to help people look into the future.

You might remember the cards were used in one of the old James Bond
movies, 'Live and Let Die.'

They're are 78 cards in a Tarot deck. Near the Middle School Monday, Prince
George's County detectives found one card - the Death Card.

Law enforcement sources say there was a message scribbled on the card. It
read; 'Dear Policeman, I am God.'

According to a history of Tarot cards, 'The Death Skeleton' comes to all: child,
father, mother, king and priest.'

The Sniper has killed six people and wounded two.

The child, who was wounded Monday, is in critical, but stable condition.

Of the six who were killed, four were men and two were woman.

When contacted by 9-News, Prince George's County police issued a statement saying, "We're are not
commenting on any potential evidence that may have been located."

Tuesday, police returned to at least one of the other crime scenes searching once again for any evidence
left behind by the killer.
