Tenet also denied that the hijackers met with Iraqi agents in Prague, although there is good evidence that they did.

He is still working for clinton.

Byrd sees Iraq-Vietnam analogy

Sure, it is possible if it is done wrong. But, to repeat GHW Bush's words, this won't be any Vietnam.

CIA Director George Tenet told lawmakers Tuesday that Saddam Hussein might not use his weapons of mass destruction unless provoked by an imminent U.S.-led attack.

Maybe not but as president Bush said last night if he aquires a nuclear weapon he will hold the entire middle east hostage. He has already tried to take over the middle east by envading Iraq. What makes Byrd or Dashole think he won't try again?

Byrd, who has been criticizing the Iraq war resolution daily since the Senate began its debate on the measure last Thursday, told colleagues at a party luncheon that he planned to make full use of Senate rules to try to derail the legislation, participants said.
I hate West Virginia.

Tenet has to go NOW. You are either on the same page with the President or your are not, he is not even looking at the same book... DISCUSTING!

Agreed, GWB's first order of business on Jan. 20 2000 should have been to give every single clintonista the bums rush. And Byrd can go sh*t in his hat as far as I'm concerned, except he shakes so bad these days he'd probably miss!

Of course 2000 should have been 2001 - it's been a long day!

The war should start by nuking West Virginia, which is a total dirtbag state. Sen. Byrd sucks and so do the rodents that keep electing him.

Please no pictures of the hat thing. You got it right, I hope PGWB has just been trying to be a nice guy. But to have so many Clinton left overs is concerning. Time for playing nice is over.

they can delay voting until after the November election if they want to.The longer they mess around with Iraq the less time the dems have to hammer at the economy and how Bush wants to starve everybody. As as resident of WV I do hope you fellow Moutaineers vote for Wolfe to at least get one sane vote from our state in the Senate.Somebody stuck a fork in Byrd for I think his brain is fried.

What's he going to do? Read from the KKK handbook for a few days? Maybe he still has it memorized. That would help.

"Byrd, a former majority leader, is widely regarded for his knowledge and skilled use of Senate rules."

Not by me. He's an egotistic old bloviator and a fool.

I think your nuke coments are out of line, there a lot of good people that live in WV, many vote for bacon, many while being out of a survival mode. Government programs created these people, held them down, made them dependent on the government to continue to take care of them. They have not been told that the priviate sector business can deliver good paying jobs. Sad but true...

Fine, this is good news. The President is ultimately going to win, and the closer to the election the better. Thanks, Senator Byrd.

SORE Loserman and his slimy compatriots can easily provide the necessary additional votes (60 required) to shut up the Klu Klux Klan Senator from West Virginia!

How about Joe, do you have any *alls?
