First, I don't believe this "9000" phone call lie to begin with. Second, talking to Byrd is like talking to a brick wall -- he won't change his mind. He lost it years ago.
Third, who cares what he thinks and does anyway? All he can do is stall and delay; he knows that he's going to lose this vote -- big time. He's just grandstanding for the TV cameras.
Fourth, if push comes to shove, let him blither on. He's making a fool of himself, his party, and the Senate. So what's to complain about with that?
Hey guys I don't know what's up but apparently some of the other Democratic Senators are saying the same thing. I'm wondering if this is being orginized by someone.
