I think you are wrong about this, if I remember correctly the Baltimore Police Union threw their vote in with Ehrlich.

YOU are right about the endorsement by the FOP, and I was referring to an event to be held at Coppin State College. After checking the events roster for KKT just now, it appears that Billy Jeff will be meeting his adoring public at a glitzy downtown hotel on October 18.
Maybe the Townsend committee found out that even her supporters would not feel safe in that neighborhood.

I stopped into the "Democrats for Ehrlich" campaign office in downtown Baltimore last Saturday, and asked the office person there if Ehrlich supporters would be at Coppin waving signs, etc when the exPres made his appearance, and he told me it was almost impossible to get anyone to do it. And he was talking about city residents and students of Coppin, not grey-haired white women.

I will contact the Ehrlich campaign tomorrow to see if anything is being discussed about demonstrating at the Wyndham Inner Harbor
