Saying that a military trained sniper is doing this is a fair assumption. I think implying it is an American is far fetched. People either go off like McVeigh (clear political motive) or they pull a Texas AM Tower (Brain Damage). One is methodical, the other is just base emotion. This one is methodical, and is against clearly innocent, non-political elements of society. This is terrorism, insisting it is a former or current member of the US military is tin foil hat time. Not impossible, but considering we are at war with a violent religion that encourages this MO, it is improbable.

You could be right but what about those soldiers who killed their wives just recently and also in the NY Post there was a about the Sailor who shoved his shipmate out of a window in a hotel on Madison Avenue just the other day and then calmly went back to sleep. SHIPMATE SHOCKER. It is not unbelievable. This sniper could have just snapped. Or he could be a hunter that just snapped. But AGAIN, that's just my opinion. I am keeping mind open.
