The entire network will be carrying the speech prior to the start of the game. There is only one game scheduled tonight and the first pitch is scheduled until well after the top of the hour.

I'm watching it on ABC right now. Word was that they weren't going to be broadcasting it, but here it is.

WABC here in NY is NOT carrying it, nor is CBS or NBC. I don't ever recall a President addressing the nation that was NOT televised. I hope they are bombarded with mail and I attend to send a slew of them using various aliases.

I have a satellite dish so I get the network feeds from both sides of the country, and all three are broadcasting in the west, but not in the east.

You've got to hand it to Fox.....Holding up a Game 5 of the NLDS between Atlanta with some of the best pitching in the game, and San Francisco with some of the biggest bats in the game, to televise MY President. God forbid, we'd have to miss a freakin' episode of Fear Factor, King of Queens, or Drew Carey.

Here in Northern Cal (SF Bay Area), all local network stations are carrying it: KTVU2 (Fox), NBC, ABC, CBS. I believe the baseball game was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. I think it may have been pushed to 5:30 to accommodate the President's speech, which has been tremendous.

Looks like they held the game up until the President was finished. Classy move. Dontcha know that must burn Ted Turner! You think they showed the speech on the Diamondvision screen?

We watched President Bush deliver his speech tonight on FoxNews, followed by Bill O'Reilly. It's a good thing FoxNews showed the President or we would never have watched FoxNews again. Thank you FoxNews - and President Bush's audience was very enthusiastic!

I'm watching it on ABC right now. Word was that they weren't going to be broadcasting it, but here it is.The networks provided a live feed of the speech for the West Coast. But those of us on the East Coast got bupkis, except for Fox.
Interestingly, CNBC Asia and Europe carried the speech while CNBC US did not.

"No one here can know how I despise the media". Well, I don't know about the rest of the folks here, but I have come to hate the liberal media. I used to read the NY Times, but stopped many years ago. To keep up to date on news I come to FreeRepublic and NewsMax. I only watch FoxNews on TV. I also listen to Rush Limbaugh. From time to time, I feel I should get another perspective. But every time I try to hear the other side I'm so disgusted I turn it off after about a minute. I love America deeply and I can't and won't tolerate other so-called "Americans" tearing this great country down. And, Russ, there are many like us - I think we are called "The Silent Majority".

Couldnt agree more. It sounds as though you were describing me and many more here. Thank God we have Jim Rob and the others you mention to get our news from.

Funny, in LA KCBS, KNBC, KABC, KTTV, and KCAL all covered it, plus the cable channels. Not prime time here though.
