The writing was on the wall since NJ printed and sent out new ballots to military today.

EVERYBODY WINS!! This is a victory for State's Rights, you know. As pathetic as NJ is, they ought to be able to decide their own mess in their own state. You can impeach the NJSC, or you can vote non-Whitman's in to appoint non-liberals. Welcome to the creaky wheels of democracy.

What distressing news. Guess we now can add a new dimension to elections - run until you find you cannot win and pull in a better hitter.

If this is ok - I hope the GOP also uses this tactic.

What can you expect from "Republicans" like O'Connor, Stevens, Souter, and Kennedy? Their views are similar to those of the Whitman appointees in Trenton. Now I presume that one of these four people did vote to hear the NJ case?

They win again No, everybody losses on this one. The SCOTUS allowed the Pandora's box to remain opened. This most deadly act by the sconj of stabbing the rules of fairness in the back will have very long term, if not permanent impact on all of us USA citizens. If those who interpret the laws are allowed to pervert the laws, are the Legislative, and Executive bodies relevant?

Yeah, they may win NOW, but wait until they have to explain themselves to God... THEN we'll see who the winners are ;0)
