Anyone who has followed the tapes and jihad training manuals and methods will easily see the similarities. Why can't the authorities? Remember the alleged Alabama al qaeda training camp where there where school buses and police cars riddled with bullet holes and mannequins of men and women laying around covered in blood. They were simulated shootings of ordinary people in normal settings.
