One can just as easily find another disenchanted individual to serve as wheel man.

We had ghastly a rape/murder case here a few years back. One of the guys was apparently a virgin, and both had speculated about what it would be like to kill people. They cruised around for several nights before carefully, if randomly, selecting their victim.

I could easily see two such guys doing the same sort of thing in this case.

I can't. I think the sites are choosen, victims have been random, so far. Betcha a sniper operatin this close into the Capital have the Feds a mite twitchy. :)
