Steven Ambrose, in his excellent book, American Jihad, makes mention of several cases of Islamic extremist terrorism, in this country, which no one took responsibility for, but for which the feds and Ambrose knew were terrorism.

I don't want to nit-pick, but just want to clarify it's Steven Emerson, and the book's terrific, in case anyone hasn't read it yet. He's a resident terrorism expert on msnbc, and I started hearing him years ago, and could never figure out why no one in the 90s was paying any attention to him. That was before I know all I know now.

Give it a year or two, and Ambrose will have written the same book... ;-)

Oh, jeez. Thanks for the correction. That's Steven Emerson, author of American Jihad, an absolute must read. (And I was looking right at the book and still got his last name wrong).
