I think Republicans should be hammering home the concerns about his senility everyday on the tube and demanding an independent medical evaluation of him be done -- and the results released -- before the election.

How in the world does it serve this country to have a senile, vegetative senator in office?

What if Lautenberg resigns after he is elected and the governor appoints Torrecelli until the next election....is this possible...

It doesn't matter. The Dem's know Lautenberg will win and then he will quit.Then the governor will appoint whoever he wants to.
