Actually shutting down the borders won't do a thing to resolve the terrorism. They just arrested 6 American born AlQaida terrorists - 4 in Portland and 2 elsewhere, and we have this guy wondering around the DC area killing people.

Now, here's what would really help this country out - just ship everybody back home whose people arrived after 1828! Can you imagine the wide open vistas that would give us, and everybody could live in a really great house. We could let the Louisiana Territory revert to it's natural conditions and the Mississippi River dams and controls could be blown up as just so much useless concrete.

Clueless. Closing the borders will d a great deal as the terrorist, that are not US citizens, are using it to enter the US.

George "RINO" Bush's wants to give these folks a free green card.

Shutting down our borders will do "a thing" to help resolve terrorism but it won't cure it by itself. Uncontrolled immigration is a threat to our sovereignty and security in many many ways beyond terrorism.

But I think you already know that. Why did I have to spend 6K on an immigration lawyer for my ex-wife from Brasil and now almost anyone can just walk across and stay unencumbered?

I know why. The Dems like their voting patterns and we like the cheaper labor. Plus we've become soft with all this diversity appreciation mantra. Many folks enjoy the indirect consequence of diluting Euro-culture predominance here.
