[history]
Four men removed from an America West plane at Oakland International Airport had prompted concerns because three of them paid cash for a ticket surcharge for the flight and had spread out to different seats, while the fourth was seen talking to them, authorities said Friday.

I would be scared if this happened on my flight.

Isn't this special, out of respectfull sensitivities we are able to get a full report like this with no comment as to there ethnic origins or appearance. Ok, those few PC readers out there let me have it.

Other such alarms have been prompted by passengers who switched seats, chatted excitedly and pointed at landmarks through the windows, ... Obviously something only a terrorist would do.

Good job by the air marshals; They are doing a splendid job and the rotten terrorists know it, that is why no more shoe bombers or throat slashing murderers have killed our citizens lately. So delays are frequent, better safe than DEAD!!!!!

no comment as to there ethnic origins"Middle Eastern men in their 20s or 30s,"
What else would you like?

another put his feet on an adjoining chair, which made some passengers nervous, she said. That's funny, I was thinking this was the obviously terrorist behavior.
Note to self: On next flight, do NOT lean back your seat in an effort to get "more comfortable."

that pretty much says it all gcruse... says it all.

I flew the shuttle from NY to DC back in the late 1980s. I paid in cash. They didn't ask for any ID, or name. I thought, "Wow, how wonderful to live in such a free country."
Now, the thought of anyone paying cash and flying anonymously is feared by the sheeple, some of whom even call themselves "conservative."
We've lost something precious, bit by bit, over the years. Not only freedom, but even the thought of freedom, fills conservatives with fear.
This relates to Alan Keyes's comment that one reason to abolish the income tax is because it's none of the govt's business how much money you have, or where you got it. Ditto where, when, and how you're traveling.
I fear the air marshalls, and the people who support them, more than people paying with cash and flying anonymously (not that that's possible anymore in our increasingly police state). The Communist nations had armed guards on flights decades ago. Now, we're adopting their culture, and "conservatives" are cheering.
Yes, liberty endangers lives. The Founders chose liberty. Many "conservatives" are trading in the Founders for Commie culture.

Not only freedom, but even the thought of freedom, fills conservatives with fear. Very well stated.
Unless the assualt on America's Freedom is ended, we will be transformed into just another third-world sh!thole run by a small class of ruling elites.

Who are these other people on the thread that think that no one should be suspicious of Middle Eastern men paying for one way tickets in cash, and then these same men spreading out in different areas of the plane?
I would be having a full on panic attack!

"They are messing with people's minds and playing games." Yes, the Arabs are pushing the envelope to see how much they can get away with. Then the PC commentators will tell America how silly they're acting (the Americans, not the Arabs) by being so insensitive. Then people will be afraid to report any suspicious behavior, and we'll have another terrorist attack.

Maybe I missed it, but where in the article did it say anything about them buying one-way tickets?
To: Ciexyz
Sometimes terrorist "test" a system to find weak points. Hats off to our guys for pulling them off the plane.

Don't know. I'm suspicious of them no matter what they do. That's normal, anything you hear otherwise on this thread is just PC BS.
