Who is the man the BATF barbequed in California, for being nutty and telling his neighbors tall tales? I wondered what their jurisdictional duties were there, too.
James Beck was barbequed in his home in Santa Clarita. There were several FD rigs hosing down the neighbors houses, not one drop of water landed on Beck's house. His dogs fried too. His girlfriend got out through the garage door which was then shut again, and the house allowed to burn. The fire started when BATF agents fired teargas into the second story windows. The next day the remains were bulldozed flat.
The offense... telling his neighbors he was a fedral marshall.
