What happened to this thread? It disappeared for a while tonight. Now, all of a sudden, it's back.
Back on the subject of the thread , another source that might help us is KSEV Radio, the only conservative radio station in Houston. I would suggest that Jon (The King) Matthews and Mike Richards would be a good place to start, since the CHIEF called those shows often in the past.
Here is the KSEV contact info:
Main Switchboard:
(281) 588-4800
Mailing Address:
11451 Katy Freeway Ste. 215
Houston, TX 77079
Call-in numbers:
(281) 558-KSEV (5738)
Verizon Wireless Free Call: *KSEV
Finally, just in case this thread should be deleted again, I have archived the contact information at the top of this thread and the KSEV info presented here, on the Action America web site, in the Houston Pages section (the link is near the bottom of the main Houston Pages screen).
The URL is http://www.actionamerica.org/houston/chief.html.
Hopefully, we won't need it and this thread will continue to stay active. But, make a note of it, just in case.

Perhaps we can put up a reward and take out a full-page ad in the local paper announcing it?
Just my thoughts.

A year! Already!!
Thanks for the heads up, COB1. Something I CAN do!
A lot of excellent suggestions here. What a great group of folks Freepers can be.
LadyX thanks for the reminder of better times. You 'island folks' are a hoot.

I think cases like this are what Grand Juries were made for. They have full investigative powers, and if local law enforcement bureaucrats won't act, a Grand Jury subpeona is just the thing to shake them out of their stupor.
I guess the only downside for us is that their deliberations are also secret--so we wouldn't see results for some time.
But Chief and his wonderful bride deserve resolution and justice (yes, I believe he was murdered).
*Chief, I still miss you--your loss left a big hole personally, but there is now a gap in the leadership of the crusade to put a permanent end to the income tax and the IRS.
Peace pipe, brother. We'll all be seeing you soon.
