I'm not old enough to have a personal memory, but I do recall hearing that pedestrains ran and got their rifles when the guy was sniping from the Tower in Austin.

"Dateline" Unknowingly Supports 2nd Amendment!
"Catastrophe, Deadly Tower"

While watching a Dateline story on The Texas Tower Massacre, the show explains that the only thing that kept the shooter a bay and saved many lives, was CITIZEN'S GOING HOME TO GET THEIR DEER RIFLES!

They even called the mass of citizen's showing up to help "A Militia". Wow, "A Well Regulated Militia" assisted in stopping a massacre and saved many lives!

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state!

Thank You Dateline, and Thank You to the Founding Father's for providing every citizen of these United States with the right to defend ourselves!
