I sent my pittance in snail mail. It is tough for politically involved people to give in an election year. you are competing for funds with Candidates who need care and feeding.

Few things in life cost so little yet mean so much. I've never been a big fan of the saying, "the best things in life are free".

Try a game of mine--when reading the news, substitute the words "paid for by someone else" for the word "free". It works well and typically makes the story far more accurate--and it's fun!

I personally feel much better about FR no longer being "free" (paid for by someone else)!
