Well, well, well..the CHINA CONNECTION on the part of Comrade Ford explains how he and and "Miss Octoberfest" were able to wander around CHINA as an entry point to get into Afghanistan to try to team up with Taleban/alQaida to fight our American brothers and sister. The guy is fluent in Chinese, lived there, knows the territory, and invariably has contacts. I think we may be looking at more than black panther or socialist radicals turned Islamists; we may be dealing with foreign intelligence agents here or at least people trained and controlled for an agenda.
