if he's killing in DC, that's a real problem. local DC cops are lazy and a bunch are out on full-paid disability half the time. they can't do saturation patrols like in MD or VA.

When I looked at the map of the shootings in this morning's Washington Times, it suggested to me that the perps might well be coming out of D.C., and perhaps in the area around upper Georgia Ave. The second of the two shootings on Wednesday evening was closer to D.C. than the first, and just off Georgia Ave. The last shooting Thursday morning was also on the way to D.C., and on Connecticut Ave., therefore not far from Georgia. And now we have a single shooting Thursday evening just inside D.C., on Georgia.

I suspect that, at the end of all three sessions, the perps were on the way home.
