Police in Virginia say weapon was not high-powered rifle-
(Fredericksburg-AP) -- Police say the weapon that wounded a woman outside a mall near Fredericksburg, Virginia, does NOT appear to have been a high-powered rifle like the one involved in a series of shootings in Montgomery County.Spotsylvania County Police Captain Michael Timm says a woman was shot in the lower back as she loaded packages into her car.
Timm says the bullet passed through the woman's body, and police are looking for it.
No official word on the woman's condition.
The shooting occurred outside a Michaels crafts store at Spotsylvania Mall. The first incident in the Montgomery shootings was a shot fired through the window of a Michaels store.
